PCB Removal & CleaningPCBs (Polychlorinated Biphenyls) are a group of toxic chemicals once in widespread use as coolants and lubricants in transformers, capacitors and other electrical equipment. They are insoluble in water and extremely resistant to natural decay. Now banned, PCBs also are incredibly difficult and costly to destroy by chemical, thermal and biochemical processes.

Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) can deeply penetrate concrete that has not been epoxy coated.    Often extensive blasting or scarification is required to lower contaminant concentrations.  Traditional cleaning products to remove PCBs are hydrocarbon-based, often flammable and contain highly levels of harmful VOCs that require full face breathing respirators or bottled air.

For over 20 years, the LESS-THAN-TEN and PIPE-X-METAL-X products have offered proven performance to remove PCBs from all types of surfaces.

PCB Removal & CleaningThe products are a special blend of surfactants and terpenes that have been designed to solubilize and trap PCBs.

The products are water based. No VOCs!!!!

Simply spray or brush onto the contaminated surface, let sit for 20-30 minutes (provide mild agitation if and when possible) and then remove the liquid with a shop vacuum or mop.  Let surface thoroughly dry for 24 hours and then resample to determine if any contamination still exists.  (Re-treat where necessary)
