CRISPR

corie matushek · Sep 2, 2015 ·

Have been recently reading about the new CRISPR technology for rapid gene splicing. (CRISPR = Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) This is being hailed as the biggest deal in genetic science since PCR was developed in 1985! The technology is a rapid and low-cost method to change or to repair genes. A great article in Nature. http://www.nature.com/news/crispr-the-disruptor-1.17673
